With some great help from two little Elves we made some tasty (and crazy sweet to be honest) Flap Jacks here at Tidö Lindö earlier today! Freja and Elias did a great job mixing and stirring. I love spending time with my sibling’s children – all the clever and fun things they say and do – it makes me so happy and warm!! Tomorrow all of them will be here for ice skating and BBQ! It will be…. wild =) xx

What is this? Did I go to the supermarket and buy an “add-water-scones-mix?” Nope!! Sometimes I overcome my own limits! =) I used a recipe from my Afternoon Tea book and it only took me 20 minutes to make them, with some assistance from Kiwi of course. It’s meant to be chocolate in them, but I decided not to add it. It sounds like it would be way too sweet, instead I sprinkled a little bit off  extra salt on the dough to balance up the sweet jam that we put on when served!

Next project is to make Flap Jacks. I’ll you know how that goes! Kisses n’ hugs
