Now David and I are back in Sweden after a wonderful week in Dubai. I couldn’t keep up with the blog posts so they are a bit delayed. These are from Friday and David’s 30th birthday celebration. It started off with brunch on the rooftop at Iris Dubai. It was very close that we missed this brunch due to the Weather God’s decision to make it rain on that particular day. And because there is not usually rain in Dubai the bar didn’t have any kind of cover, but we were lucky!! Just as we were about to leave the sun came out and we had a very beautiful start of the day with great food, a sweet birthday cake, live music and a view over Burj Khalifa.  After the brunch we continued the celebration at Julia and Kurt’s house. It was a celebration which ended up being a great example on why home parties often are the best ones. I just looked over the photos taken from when late night became early morning and they are hilarious, but I decided they are not blog friendly, haha! Anyway, we had such a great day and night and I am so happy that David got a full on 30th birthday celebration with so many amazing people! =)

More pics from Dubai will come up later =) Lots of love xx

a snack and a yoga mat

yoga mat

I have been wanting a yoga mat for a while now since it makes it much easier to practise yoga, meditation or regular work out at home. My dad kindly thought I needed one as well and got me this beautiful one – I love the colour of it. I have been using it this morning and afterwards I treated myself with a blueberry and raspberry drink and lovely sweet grapes (my little obsession). Hope you will have a good Wednesday! I will spend the rest of mine with school work! xx

healthy breakfast

Goooood morning! Long time, no talk! I am sitting here on my chair in our “shoebox” mentally preparing myself for a day in school, a long day in school! I wish I could have start the day with the same C-vitamin boost as I did a few days ago (pics above), but today I will have to go with a quick porridge before heading off. I have London Grammar pumping out of the speakers, God I love them! You make sure to have a rockin’ Monday, and I will do the same! Kisses n’ hugs

Merry Christmas to you all!! The day that we have been waiting for all December is finally here!! I will put all the school books to the side today and fully enjoy this day together with my loved ones. Above you can see the gingerbread house that my brother and I made a few days ago. It turned out quite cute I think! At least the little mice have snow on the ground. Outside our window its rain, grey weather and a bare ground, oh well!

Christmas breakfast is coming up here next – it will be Santa Porridge and mom’s home-made crisp bread with Christmas ham on (for the meat eaters)! Kisses and hugs xx

There could never be too much chocolate, could it? Well, we know that during Christmas chocolate is a common gift and at least from my experience always appreciated. David know this and I have been surprised with all kinds of chocolate during the past three years that we have been dating. zChocolat is a French brand that I have had the pleasure to try out. Not only is the chocolate amazing but they also know how to wrap it up and make it look extra pretty and thoughtful. And they have world wide delivery!

So, what’s happening today? It’s Friday and four days left to Christmas Eve (the most important day of the christmas in Sweden, we are so impatience). Together with my brother and my mom I will soon head off to town for a little bit of Christmas shopping, and later today a ginger bread house will be in the making.

If you have a minute over take a look at this clip where Will Ferrell explains Swedish Christmas traditions. It’s so funny! xx
